The Band Concert video is now live on our new YouTube channel for all school events. Please view the concert at this link: https://youtu.be/rzmgl5jDM6I?si=RZ9B8QEQz4X0NAbM
We also need subscribers so we can go live from this YouTube for all future OSHS events. With Awards Day and Graduation coming up, we would like at least 100 people to subscribe which will enable us to be able to live stream events. So please go to the link above and subscribe to our new channel!

We couldn't let Assistant Principal week pass without honoring our favorite assistant principal, Mr. Booth! OSHS is so thankful for all he does for our school and our students. He *might* have run away from our Broadcast Journalism team when they broke out the camera, but Mr. Booth is very much appreciated this week and every week!

OSHS is thankful for our paraprofessionals who make our school a better place!

OSHS also won big earlier this week at the TMTA Math Competition. A majority of the students who competed scored in the Top 10 in their divisions with Noah Christy, 9th grade, placing 1st in Geometry and Braden Thomas, 10th grade, placing 2nd in Algebra. Look for that article next week to be published with more details!

Today multiple OSHS students WON BIG at Roane State's Academic Festival. The Bobcat Talk Podcast Hosts (Liam Boeke, Zachary Hamby, and Ethan Jones) won 1st place in Journalism Sports Feature. 10th Grader Kiley Alexander won 1st place in the Medical Terminology Spelling Bee. 11th Grader Sarah Yoakley won 1st place in the Spanish Poetry Contest. Congratulations to these students! Next week, the Broadcast Journalism will publish a featured article about the students who competed this week as well as the students who competed in the Math Competition earlier this week. A majority of the OSHS students who competed in the Math Competition scored in the Top 10 in their divisions with Noah Christy, 9th grade, placing 1st in Geometry and Braden Thomas, 10th grade, placing 2nd in Algebra. Look for that article next week!
