The future is BRIGHT at Oliver Springs as we had NEON Day as Spirit Week Day 2 today. Tomorrow is Adam Sandler Day so we can't wait to see you in your best Adam Sandler apparel.
One of the 12th grade PBL classes at Oliver Springs needs YOUR help! They are looking for long time community members that are willing to be interviewed about the history of Oliver Springs. They are creating a documentary about the town's history and need participants willing to be recorded whether in video or audio format. If you are interested, or know of someone who would be interested, please email ckitts@roaneschools.com or call the school at 435-7216 and leave your name and contact information for Mrs. Kitts. We are looking to conduct these interviews within the next 3-4 weeks. Thank you!

The homecoming parade is tomorrow. Students need to begin lining up in the back parking lot at 5:30 with their floats!

The Medic Blood Drive is next Monday, September 25, at OSHS. Students who are over 16 may also donate and need to get a form in the front office for parent signatures. Anyone who donates will receive free movie tickets, variety show tickets, and be entered in a drawing to win $500!
Come out TONIGHT (September 21) to support the OSHS Lady Cat soccer team as they take on Eagleton at home. The class of 2024 seniors will also be honored before the game. The game starts at 6:30. GO LADY CATS and Congratulations to our seniors!
The 2023 season for the OSHS golf team, coached by Tony Brummett and Justin Jenkins, is quickly coming to a close. They begin District Tournament play next Tuesday, September 26, at Kingston. Good luck to our golf team!

SENIORS: An Important Message from Mrs. Jones, guidance counselor:
This week (September 18-22) is College App Week in TN. Most TN colleges have free applications this week.
If you email Mrs. Jones a screenshot of your submitted application (confirmation page, account showing submitted, etc), you will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card. You have until Sunday night (9/23) to email her. This includes any school - college, technical, etc.
The high school volleyball team is traveling to Halls tonight (9/13) and will also be traveling to Harriman tomorrow night. Good luck to our Lady Cats volleyball team!
The Lady Cats soccer team traveled to Rockwood last night and won 4-2! Congratulations to them! Their next game is Monday, September 18, at home against Harriman.
Tonight is Senior Night for the Class of 2024 Lady Cat Volleyball players! They host Wartburg with JV playing at 5:30 followed by senior night and then the varsity game at 6:30. Come out and support our Lady Cat seniors and the rest of their team.

The Service Learning Class is mid-way through their first project. They have been asking students for donations for Children's Hospital. However, we also want to encourage our community to do so as well and support our students in their philanthropic endeavors.
